Rebuilding: Is this fair for my Panarin?

i am rebuilding my roster and ive got two offers for my soon to be 32 year old Panarin:

1) Kirill Marchenko and Robert Thomas for my Artemi Panarin and a 2024 3rd Round Pick

2) Noah Dobson and a 2024 1st Round PIck (likely in the 6th-8th overall range) for Artemi Panarin

my desire to part with Panarin is because his value isn't going to be higher than it is now moving forward (most likely) and his 3-year averages for G/60, EV-P/60 Primary P/60 have all trended downwards over the past 3 years wheres his other stats have fluctuated a bit. My team is in a bit of a rebuild at the moment as well but I just got Fantilli, Michkov, and Carlsson during our prospect draft, so I'm headed in the right direction.

Is this a cap league? How many keepers do you get? I can't see either one of these deals being worth it unless you're being forced to make a trade or lose him for nothing but some more info would be helpful.

As soon as I read the title, I kinda figured I wasn't going to like the offers, and I was right.

First off, in the first offer, you shouldn't have to add to Panarin to trade him.

I do have a few questions though. What does your full roster look like? Do positions matter? Is this for the league you have in your signature (for categories)? Already asked but I will follow it up with the same question about salary cap.

6x15 = 90 keepers.
You don't move a top half (45) keeper forward (Panarin) for a bottom half (Thomas) and a big "maybe" - Marchenko.
It's a no. Hold Panarin.

6th-8th overall picks almost never pan out to be future "top90" fantasy players.
If you were assured a 1st-3rd overall pick... maybe.

In your league format, this is a no. In a cap league format or a much deeper format, it could easily be a yes. Panarin went for less than that in my dynasty cap league, as somebody had been trying to deal him for a while.

Depending on how many F versus D, the second offer has a chance to be fleshed out into something, if it's D heavy.

How many players per team? I find it hard to think anyone would need to rebuild in a 6 team league

Second offer is much better, but I still feel like you should be able to get more.
