    Default Best Keeper league platform?

So I’m starting a keeper league (Salary Cap + H2H Pts) I would like a lot of customization especially with points so I like Fantrax.

But I’ve heard the app is confusing and doesn’t work well. Which I think the guys won’t like as we’re all really busy and the app is what we will use most of the time out of convenience.

I don’t mind Yahoo or ESPN just not as much options. I also heard CBS isn’t to bad. What do you guys recommend?
    Redraft League - 12 Man H2H Points - Team Record 13-5 (1st Place)
    9 Forwards (Non Positional), 5 Defense 1 UTL, 2 Goalies, 6 Bench, 2 IR
    Skaters-G(3),A(2),PPG (1),PPP (1),SHG(3),HAT (9),HIT(0.25),BLK(0.25)
    Goalies - W(3), L(-1), GA (-1), SV (0.2), SO(6), OTL(1)
    ————————————————————————————
    Forwards - K.Kaprizov, J.Eichel, J.Robertson, K.Fiala, P.Laine, J.Gaudreau, J.Debrusk, C.Keller, N.Schmaltz, T.Stutzle, T.Terry, S.Bennett, C.Verhaeghe, M.Boldy,
    Defense - R.Josi, Q.Hughes, R.Dahlin(IR), N.Dobson, E.Bouchard, M.Ekholm
    Goalies -
    L.Ullmark, J.Markstrom, T.Demko, C.Talbot
    (IR: S.Bennett)

Everybody will tell you that Fantrax is the best overall platform.
I can't speak to the app... I'm a desktop guy.

I believe Fantrax is smartest option when salary cap is in play.

    Yahoo doesn't have salaries.
I can't speak to ESPN or CBS.

Totally agree. I do use the app and it’s really pretty good and getting better all the time.

CBS Sportsline sucks on every level.

I recommend ignoring apps for websites that work well, and just using your preferred browser, set up a widget to the page, save it on the screen, and make sure it's the desktop version.

I know nothing about ESPN for hockey.

CBS Sportsline used to be solid for fantasy baseball & football, but was bad at hockey when I tried to set up a league there. I haven't played other sports in a while.

I didn't like Yahoo for hockey, but it was mediocre, not horrible.

Every hockey league I am in is on Fantrax.

The only other site I'd consider for fantasy sports is myfantasyleague.com, which I found to be the best for football. They only do football, but they are awesome.

I went ahead and set up the league on Fantrax haha, didn’t take much convincing considering I was leaning that way already.

    Thanks everyone, cheers!

Fantrax is the site if you are more than a casual fantasy fan. If you're a casual fan, I feel like Yahoo is good.

I also like Yahoo because I'm in multiple hockey, baseball and football leagues through it so it's easier that they're all in one app.

But ya, Fantrax is the Fantasy Hockey site.

Fantrax is free unless you need premium features. Don’t think I’ve ever been in a league that complex.

Fantrax is the best overall, the ads can be little annoying but you can purchase the ad free feature. Their treasurer feature works great as well. Easy to use.

The UHL is that complex, but we paid for a premium account years ago on a deal that kept us premium as long as we wanted. We dont have to renew it every year but we have the premium setup.

Didn’t know that as we pay no fees?

Nope, we dont. We technically WE already did a few years ago. As I say, there was a time when Fantrax offered a one time deal where you paid a certain amount and it guaranteed no fees going forward for the premium edition. I cant remember what each of us 24 at the time paid. It wasn't a lot and well worth it. I think we paid $7 or something like that each. Either way, we have the premium there with no fees because those before you paid them.

Well that’s pretty awesome. So there you go. I’m guessing features like buyout cap hits and such an extensive minors system are premium items. Either way Fantrax is still the best.
