Yes that’s very fair - but an 80-90 point potential heavy on the PPPs? Seems to me that should be way better than ADP 64.

Considering its the end of the 5th round I thought he was worth a shot, with or without Bergeron. I might get to regret it but Boston is a proud team, and I assume they are not happy with how their season ended. Marchand included.

Gaudreau at that point too yes. I had to look up where he was drafted last year - mid 3rd round - seems like a good pick at this point, but it's tough to know. I think it's what Pengwin said at an earlier stage but now has been amplified - people have picked many more goalies this year, so far, compared to last and we find better skaters in round 5.

Until I see Gaudreau do something on that Columbus team, he's not going to be very high in my rankings. Not much peripherals either (in addition to a bad plus minus).

I get it, but he did put up 74 points last year in a down season - expecting 85ish is not to be overly optimistic. And that kind of production isn’t usually available in the 5th round even in multicat.

Hemming and hawing over that Nurse pick. I know he’s lost the PP1 gig but such a beast in other categories and 6th round seemed like reasonable value for that. Last year he went like early 2nd!

nurse was a solid pick. I had him on my short list too.

Still some d-man I would put up ahead of him, but as you said he's a beast in other categories. If your team is in need of that it can be an advantageous pick. His BLKS certainly coming up big. Hopefully he maintains that +/- for you.

The pick of mine I'm 'Hemming and hawing over' is picking Morrissey instead of Montour. Thinking I should have went Montour.

both are great choices, and nothing against montour, but I think you made the right choice with Morrissey.

    Ya maybe you are right.
I was just looking at Montour's PIM (something my team lacks) as an extra plus. I'm not really sure how much PIM fluctuates from year to year. Some guys (like Tkachuk's) you know those PIMs will come.
Looking at Montour's previous years stats he's never paced for over 50 PIM in a year.

ooof! I had evander Kane all lined up for my next pick. If he can stay healthy, he’ll have a fantastic year relative to being drafted this late.
