OK - so my understanding (if I'm understanding it right) this command within google sheets (=importhtml("https://frozenpool.dobbersports.com/frozenpool_stats.php", "table", 0) Will continually update (upon opening of google sheets) the player stats it imports through out the season?

All I'm looking to do is import/update player stats for the current year in to a google sheet - I can manage everything else it's just trying to easily get the data from nhl/dobber or whatever source has it in to a sheet using the =importhtml

Otherwise I'll need to manually update the players stats in the sheet....

Yes.
It will update to the source (frozenpool) when you open the spreadsheet (and probably on refreshing the page too).

and I think I've figured for Goalie Stats I can use this ? (=importhtml("https://frozenpool.dobbersports.com/frozenpool_stats.php?pos=G&team=ALL&rookie=All&min gp=0&reportdata_length=200","table",0))

It seems to have pulled all the goalies in to google sheets....

so I'm assuming when the new season starts - the current stats will just reset?

Yes - that page always shows stats for the current regular season and will be updated every 15 minutes during games

So I was looking at Fantrax and for a pick em pool you'd have to allow players to be picked by multiple teams. Apparently that's a 'premium' feature......$129 to set that up...
I appreciate the recommendation though.

I see that the stats aren't up to date today on this site, is there a connection issue to the original source?

Kucherov is showing as 9g11a (20pts) but the NHL site is showing 10g12a (22pts)..
