They need at LEAST one really solid NHL-defensive-forward on Bedard's line.

They need someone who can move the puck, and Hall can do that. He has always been good at carrying the play. Bedard is not that guy. He's a shooter but he's not a puck carrying guy. If Hall can get the puck in the zone and give Bedard a good shot, there's a chance.

Was hoping it would be harder for Boston to get cap space. From a distance it has always seemed that Hall lacked work ethic and just skated by on talent. IIRC wasn't Hall the one that only trained with Crosby and MacKinnon for a couple days in the offseason before saying "why are you guys working so hard?" Not sure he's the veteran leader I want on the Blackhawks.
