    1 bedard
    2 fantilli
    3 carlsson
    4 smith
    5 Leonard
    6 reinbacher

Benson to Philly at 7. I think briere puts more of a focus on skill over size.
    Caps michkov
    Wings dvorsky
St Louis takes Moore. Canucks ASP if wings don't take him. Yotes willander. Sabres Barlow.
Pittsburgh honzek but does anyone actually think dubas isn't trading down?
Nashville Perrault. Calgary Danielson. Detroit but. Winnipeg simashev. Chicago wood. Seattle yager. Minny sale. Philly stenberg. Rangers Gauthier. Nashville gulyayev. Stl bonk but good chance they're trading one of both of their later picks.

    Stl brindley

Very plausible in my eyes. Nevermind the Habs wanting Reinbacher rumors...

If there's one player that would have some pull over in Russia, to get Michkov over quicker, it would be Ovechkin.

Just not the most exciting as a Habs fan to see that pick traded down.

Seems more and more plausible. Montreal hasn't appeared interested in Michkov, or vice versa, for some time. At least I'd be very surprised if he ends up there. ...but still a bit odd given the trajectory of these teams, and the increased focus on Ovechkin goals in Washington.

For me, Washington trading to get Michkov doesn't "time" logically - assuming the KHL 3-year wait is held for.
That said... some sports teams have really successfully passed a "torch" and kept fans in stands with their shift between superstars.

Green Bay going from Favre to Rodgers....
Washington could keep fans in seats with the hype that is Michkov...
It's a decent play for them with the fans associating Russian hockey players in a good way.

[...sorry... lost track that this wasn't the discussion thread...]

Axe has a great middle of his draft at this point.
Couple guys off by 3-4 spots, which sucks because of scoring... but this is best draft set thru 18 picks.
Got the top 8 and all of his top 18 are picked in the first 19 of the draft (just missing But).

Zero trades in the first round. There are approximately 4 NHL teams that are actively interested in winning lmao

Holy cow - amazing job senryu!
Did you list that yourself or did you find a good mock?!
    That's an amazing list... top-to-bottom.

I honestly didn't see anybody suggesting Michkov would really, truly fall to 7.
That helped slot the first 8. Willander top 10 paid off.
And Stramel at 23... I didn't see any lists with Stramel that high in past month.

    30. Carolina Hurricanes - Gulyayev
    31. Montreal Canadiens - Fisker Molgaard
    32. Vegas Golden Knights - Brindley
I was actually pretty happy with my list - given I made it completely on my own without consult and anybody's "mock".
(I have researched a bunch of prospect lists... just don't look at "mocks".)

I'd guess by "standard deviation"... I'd do pretty decent.

Other than Bedard (easy), I actually had ZERO bullseyes (so no "3"pointers)... and everybody in BOLD was 3-4 picks off, which was worth only 1pt (same as being 10 picks off!).
My only three guys not picked were 29, 30, 32. Missed having Stramel (21), Molendyk (24), AND Cowan (28)

Funny - if I had flipped Barlow(9) and Danielson(18) as the picks of DET-WPG... I would've had an extra 4 points and two bullseyes! CHLers!

Yes, thanks pmorrow for a pretty interesting game. At least I got more engaged and a little less ignorant about some of the players. Interesting to see how unpredictable the order is, even the experts are pretty far off with some pick, but as Axeman33 noted - D get drafted earlier than analysts list them. Another one that can be noted is - smaller forwards tend to fall, like every other year.

I can't take any credit for scouting any players, but I'm still satisfied the list I compiled, from others, was decent, dumb luck included.
