I thought with Patrick Roy passing the torch over to Simon Gagne, that he might be the man for the job in NY.
The ultimate "first year coach" that there is. This is his MO. He's great in the first year then loses the room. Is that really what this team needs? Maybe, since they have just as good a chance as any other of the top teams or contending next year (at least at this early point). So maybe that's what Drury is going for. The rangers clearly tried to push the rebuild forward many steps this year, maybe too many steps with adding Kane and tarasenko, so they're going for it now. Worry about the following season afterwards.
