As for the OP here, the selling GM is selling you draft hype and expecting you to pay for it. Don't overpay for draft hype. It's gone way too quickly.

I'd trade Connor and Makar for Bedard and 6th, yes. I think Bedard could potentially score 130-140 points. At 6th you might end up with Michkov, Carlsson, Smith, Benson, etc.

I am a Blackhawks fan and I am hoping that Bedard is quickly the next Connor McDavid. I however think giving up Makar and Stutzle is too much too fast for Bedard right now. It may be fine like everyone else says later at the end of the season if he takes on McDavid territory, but right not I would not do this.
