Surprised this match up isn't garnering more attention. Hoping for more votes/comments as from a purely self interested viewpoint I have to pick players from ONE of these teams for my SC Pool....and honestly I'm having trouble deciding which team to go with AND believing the Canes are favoured by 67% of voters here. Especially considering who the Panthers knocked out in the 1st 2 rounds. More votes and comments much appreciated, by me anyway.

Unless the refs allow Florida to do what they do without getting penalized, I don't think it's going to be close either.

I like Jordan’s Canes in 6. Bob has been stellar for Florida however I feel more confident in the Canes goaltending. Plus the eye test ( just my eyes mind you) feel a lot more comfortable with the Carolina D.
Perhaps it’s the Brindamour factor , go Canes !

The Panthers look like a team of destiny and Tkachuk like a steamroller, so I voted Florida in 6.
That being said, Carolina plays a lot faster than Boston or even Toronto.
We'll see how slower dmen like Staal or Gudas can handle that speed and forecheck.

I think it would be great for the lowest seed to reach the cup, but CAR keeps proving me wrong and with home ice I took them in 7.

I'm surprised at how far this is tilted towards Carolina. Carolina had arguably the easiest road to get here beating an Islanders team that probably didn't belong there in the first place and then a NJ team that lacked the experience to know how to make the adjustments after the 1st series.

On the contrary, this should be Florida's easiest series. There's no way they get by Boston, Walk through Toronto, and then fold up to an injury depleted Carolina lineup. Florida in 5, I wouldn't be surprised if it was over in 4.

The narrative thus far has been "we underestimated Florida" among prognosticators and armchair GM's but somehow that persists? I don't get it.
