    Default Unbelievably close Semis win

In the last period of the last game (Flames and Ducks), I picked up:
    a 3 point +/- shift to tie +/- 8-8
two assists to tie assists 31-31 (from Weegar and Kadri)
one block from Weegar to tie blocks 74-74

Won the match on the back of those three ties, 6-5-3, while winning sog by 1 (164-163) and hits by 1 (106-105).

Closest matchup I've ever been a part of. Feeling pretty lucky atm.

    That's a hell of a matchup.

I have been in some extremely tight ones this year too. In a semis I thought I was done. Timo Meier got credited with an assist on an empty net goal after the last game of the matchup had ended and I won. I was already processing the loss then I looked up and saw the swing in stats

Meier finally contributing eh? His move to Jersey hasn't been that smooth.

I once lost a very tight Semis just to win it eventually because there was some stat correction by the provider (can't remember if it was yahoo or fantrax). I had already congeatulated the other guy haha
(Sorry for one-upping this thread, it just came to my mind while reading about your incredibly close Semis)

Congrats Locke. It's those kinds of win (or losses) that we remember forever and what makes fantasy so much fun.

My close one was won when Evgeni Malkin got not one, but two 10-minute misconduct penalties in the 3rd period against Philadelphia. (He needs to go back to cursing the refs in Russian, but flipping that category put me over.)

My closes one was several years ago it's pretty vague in memory.

It was Sunday and I was ahead in cats.

30 minutes before the last game I picked up Spurgeon with my last pickup.
Warmups started and Spurgeon was deemed not to play due to injury (no injury talk prior).
I was losing shots 123 to 124 and he had no more players left playing.
Win this cat and I win the league (as I also win the tiebreaker). I also had another player playing who went shotless.
I was way ahead in +/- so no worries there.

He also had Gibson left who went on to win his game letting in only 1 goal. This gave him a W (breaking the tie) and switching GAA cat to him winning it.

    I lost by .5 pts.

I've lost a playoff round by 1 SOG, I want to say it was a stat correction as well, but I'm not 100% on that. It was some time ago. Either way it sucked

Brutal, I would have rather been blown away.

1 SOG, which tied the SOG category, which tied the matchup. They had the tiebreaker. Oh, and I would have easily won in the finals based on how I did in the bronze game.
