If you have saves, that's also a help, as long as he doesn't suck so bad early that he get pulled.

Leafs are 24-6-4 at home vs a non-playoff team. cant ask for much more. Worth monitoring if Dahlin and Tuch will play in this game. Samuelsson is out.

start him, not the time to be conservative. It's day one, if he craps his pants it allows you to just send goalies all week to recuperate. As said above though, additional details on your league scoring would benefit a more informed decision.

Im playing him in my roto league where I just need the saves since I have a sizable lead in wins, gaa and sv%.

H2h i likely would still play him and just hope the leafs win like 5-3
