Ghule vs Perunovich

Who would you prefer? Who looks to have a better hockey furure?

In points only, Perunovich for me. I don't see anything suggesting that Guhle is a scorer. Maybe an absence of other choices will give him PP2 time in the near future. In multi-cat, Perunovich's ability to score is ameliorated by his jarring injury history, bringing Guhle close to him. In either scenario, I'd rather take the chance on Perunovich being a Torey Krug-like factor.

Perunovich = since 20/2021 NHL season he's suffered 3 significant injuries. 52 games total over 3 seasons. 19 NHL regular season games, 7 playoff games and 26 AHL games.
Scott has the better offensive game, but I question his ability to actually be around to be of good use for it.

Ghule has his own injury as well; though just seen he's back tonight for the Habs vs Rangers.

Pts only - Perunovich, though be ready for the injuries.

This is a pretty good evaluation. I like Perunovich in a pts only by quite a bit but he has to be on the ice and not in Emerg.

And am quite happy about it.

But as mentioned above, in points leagues I would go for the higher upside in Perunovich

That's great to see Ghule back and performing well! I enjoy watching his game and am happily surprised by him.

My question for the group, what is the expectation of David Jiricek when compared to both Ghule and Perunovich in a points only fantasy league?

Guhle/Perunovich - Perunovich has upside, but he is very much racing time & health. Guhle is a guy who is going to get lots of minutes, and seems like he can be a 40 point guy.

Perunovich has yet to show he can stay healthy. I’m not investing at this point.
