Some discussions with the JT Miller owner, as well as with the Malkin one. Having some traction
Hello all!
League in signature. Fighting for 1st place, all in.
Last trades:
My Dubois and 1st round for Crosby
Then
Konecny (after injury) for Marchand
Don’t have much leverage for anything else… until I looked back at the few Arizona trades.
Thoughts on Keller ROS considering he doesn’t have anybody to play with anymore… should I try to move him for a Trochek or a Bertuzzi for a last push?
Trade deadline is tomorrow.
Thx for the input!!!

Confirmed, I could pull the trigger for Malkin straight up.
Keller has never been a PPG player, he's been close the last two years and maybe he gets there this year but I wouldn't count on it. The real bad news is that Keller, now 24 years old is signed for another 5 years of toiling away in the hockey wasteland that is Arizona. What you see is what you get, and the chances of the numbers declining is a bit worrisome, but even if that doesn't happen you likely have status quo, a 75 - 80 pt forward. Malkin, now 36 is signed for 3 more years and has produced at just over PPG for the last two years and yes, he has missed significant time due to injury. At 36, you have to think that the scoring decline which has already happened is likely to continue, at best he maintains his scoring pace which again, barely over PPG (this year 62pts/61GP). So, Malkin is likely the better producer for the next three years, but the difference is likely not going to be significant. When those three years are up Malkin will be 39 and I suspect he hangs them up. In 3 years, Keller is still only 27. However, this is about ROS, so Malkin will help a bit IF he stays healthy. Honestly, I'm inclined to stick with Keller but I'm sure others would not.

I was going to actually mention that Keller demanding a trade was not out of the realm of possibility. Then this thread popped up. Keller demands a trade and Bedard tells them go to hell, I'm not signing with you so don't draft me. It's not at all out of the realm of possibility.
