Long term, I like Alnefelt better. Alnefelt is probably 2 years away or so from a backup G job.
Which one of these guys likely to be more successful? Any chance Alnefelt gets a shot this season with Tampa?

There's ceiling, then there's opportunity.
Annunen - Georgiev
Alnefelt - Vasilevsky
I'll take the Goalie that isn't stuck behind a future HHOF'er... who is only 28 and probably still has 4-6 elite years left

I feel that Alnefelt has a better shot at being a NHL backup sooner, but Annunen has a better shot at being a NHL starter sooner. This is somewhat related to injury proneness and ability of the goalies in front of them.

(gap)
Georgiev
Francouz
(big gap)
Elliott - who should be retiring, I'd think.

Yes, injuries, or more to the point, the ability to stay relatively healthy and the ability to establish some semblance of consistency for an NHL goaltender are key considerations here. So, write their names down on a piece of paper, put them in your ball cap, close your eyes, and pull one out. That's your guy.....
