Laine drop-able?
Laine has been streaky. My team is doing well and with RNH, McJesus and Barrie lighting it up, and Nelson on a hot streak, I'm pretty good on scoring. Would you drop Laine for some hits and PIMs? Those are the only two cats that I tend to lose. Maybe Hathaway, Martin, Gorde, Zucker, Kolear, Perron, Dube? Maybe if Bennett gets back, I could drop Laine for him and kind of get the best of both worlds. But for now... should I go for a physical player?

Hasn’t Laine scored 18 points in his last 20 games? I suppose in a one year, 10 team league there is probably some decent talent you could pick up on the waiver wire if you’re looking for Hits. But a guy that has almost been a PPG over his last 20 is not droppable, even in a shallow 1 year league. Are you still able to make trades in your league, or has the deadline passed? If so, I’d think you could trade Laine’s points for a guy who can get you hits?

You guys are right - Turbo has 15 points in his last 20 games, but Laine has 19 in 20. But Turbo's +/- is better because CBJ sucks. Maybe Turbo is the guy to drop, but my trade deadline has passed...
