Swapping out Goalie Prospects

Dropping Berdin and Konovalov from my reserves & looking to replace... which of these following 2 or 3 really stand out to ya'll?

I wouldn't drop Berdin for any of the players mentioned. I would switch out Konovalov for Akhtyamov. He's in the sweet spot of being a little older than some on the list and thus closer to relevance while also not having been a low producer for many years. That being said, Konovalov, to me, is easily the most talented of all eight goalies mentioned. If he were to somehow get back to North America, I think we'd see a 1B goalie at worst. But he needs to want to come back first. If your rosters are large enough that you can hold Konovalov for a couple years, I'd want to do that.

I'll be 100% honest with you, and maybe this is my simple ignorance although I do follow drafted prospects, but the only name on that list I recognize is Hildeby. Every other name I'd have to google to see how old they are and who even owns their rights.

Is it possible that some pools are perhaps just a wee bit too deep? Axe has forgotten more about fantasy hockey than I know and even he doesn't know who these guys are. Suffice it to say, I am totally unfamiliar with all of them. I wish I could say I knew about one or two, but nope (:

I'm a goalie prospect nut, and out of that list the only real standouts I would keep an eye on would be

Hildeby - already has a contract so clearly the Leafs are high on him
Akhtyamov - destroying the VHL right now
Sergeyev - was a stud in the USHL. Doing ok in his rookie year in the NCAA
Gibson - only mentioning him because the Caps have very little in terms of goalie prospects

One other name to watch would be Clay Stephenson. Signed a contract with the Caps last summer, and doing fantastic in the ECHL, as well as his AHL callups. I would suspect him and Gibson will be playing in the A for the Caps next season. With Kuemper and Lindgren ahead of them, you never know.

i am prospect junky for most parts, last few years i had bit less time but i still do tons of reasarch on up and comming players....and i also only recongnize one name on that list...so whatever you choose, good luck but i dont think anybody here will have any great inside on total "crystal ball" type of predcition.

Only thing i agree with in here is drooping Konovalov as i dont think he is going to ever play in NA again.

Konovalov for Hildeby would be my only swap too.
