Default received Draisaitl offer, help quick

    Keep 6 , H2H 12 teams, scoring & roster in signature

My team is tied for the lead. Finally have a good chance to make playoffs and hopefully do well.
OGM team has been struggling especially with injuries.
Received offer of Draisaitl, Montour for MacKinnon, B.Tkachuk.
I’d love to add Draisaitl however losing MAC. & Brady will impact my teams playoff run considerably.

I’d be ok countering with Tkachuk (even though he is a monster in our categories)
Tkachuk & Panarin after his 5 pt night for Draisaitl ?
Not wanting to add too many pieces and lose out.

Ugh, love the guy coming in, but that ask is rough.

I'd probably offer Mackinnon & Panarin.

Draisaitl is indeed a nice own, but I'm not too sure about the cost here. This boils down to whether you think the Montour we are seeing this year is the new norm or a blip. He's never put up numbers close to this in his entire NHL career. If this is the new norm, well OK, the trade is not too bad, but, if this is a career year never to be duplicated, which I believe must be taken into serious consideration, then this trade is not looking too good at all when it's costing you one of the best multi cat owns now and well into the future. I don't like the risk here. I'm passing. I don't mind a + with MacK to get this done, but Montour for Brady Tkachuk slants things in the wrong direction for you IMO.

Initial offer his Draisaitl, Montour for B.Tkachuk and MacKinnon
I countered with Draisaitl for Panarin and B.Tkachuk OR MacKinnon

He asked if I would change it to Draisaitl for Marner and B.Tkachuk or MacKinnon.
That would leave me very thin on RW.

He also has Aho, Krieder, Hamilton and Shesterkin.

Bubba55 Thank you. Excellent reasoning. It’s a keep 6. So I’ve removed Montour and added Panarin with either Brady or MacKinnon. OGM hasn’t accepted or rejected, he did ask for Marner in place of Panarin which I feel is a no go.

He also has Aho, Krieder, Hamilton, Shesterkin.

I wonder if I would regret suggesting MacKinnon, Marner for Draisaitl, Hamilton or Krieder ?

Im in similar set up and atm BT is ranked 9th and Leon is 18th....this is hard pass in your league...

i would keep what you got tbh....BT is unicorn and one of best owns with SoGs and Hits...almost does not matter what his offence looks like and that is not too shabby and I think will grow over next few years

Note that the league in question has FoW. That is a huge difference for Draisiatl's value.

Hamilton might be keepable, Kreider is not.

Trade is pure speculation at this point. No confirmation.
