Desperate for starts

I have been in goalie hell for the past month or two. I'm having trouble getting starts and have resorted to the waiver wire which has been very hit or miss with quality. I traded for Georgiev hoping to solve that problem, but he seems to be splitting more and more starts. At this point it's starting to look like a 2-1 split at best. The Francouz owner and the MAF owners will not move either of them so the hopes of pairing them to Georgiev or Gustavsson are not happening. I could make an offer of Georgiev for Thompson/+ to the Francouz owner. I'm reluctant as Thompson's #'s aren't close to Georgiev's of late, but he's not in a timeshare situation. I should add, that Gus has been used mainly as a backup the past couple of weeks. Thoughts?

First off who else does the Fluery owner have? There might be a deal there where you send a skater & Gustavsson for a goalie and a lesser skater.

Second, who is on the wire? I realize it's often hit or miss, but if you can give some names, maybe we can help pick from the lot.

The Maf owner has the Isles duo and Ullmark as well and is unwilling to move either, I've tried. The wire is razor thin, a lot of guys are hoarding goalies due to injury and the schedule. Raanta, Halak, Delia, Stauber, Lindgrin to name a few...that's about it. I have Halak for this week as it looks like I'll get 2 games out of him.

My main concern is will I get enough starts from Georgiev each week to make him a better own then a guy like Thompson who has struggled a bit lately, but I know will start, for the most part.

The MAF owner sent me an offer out of the blue, which I quickly rejected. My Kucherov for Eichel/MAF. I replied I'd only trade Kucherov for Sorokin.

I would've passed on that as well. If the skater was better than Eichel, though, it'd be worth considering.

I just wrote a long-post on H2H strategy - I'm personally not on board with trading FOR goalies.
It just doesn't pay off... week-to-week, goalie stats are too volatile - not secure.

Questions of curiousity:
1. What did you pay for Georgiev?
2. What is available on the wire?
3. 5 moves per week! What are your last 15 transactions? (Copy/paste, if you can)

1- 2nd/Talbot
2- I have a waiver claim in for DeSmith. I have a late waiver spot so fingers crossed. He would help until Jarry comes back.


Update: I was able to claim DeSmith, and it looks like Jarry will be back, possibly by Saturday.
