    Default Bennett dropped, worth grabbing?

Bennitt was dropped is he worth grabbing over any of my other Centers? They are all at a PPG or just under. I don't want to carry 4 C only forwards. Bangers cats are PIM, Hits, BS

as I have stated before it is time for you to run with this roster as is, this squad can win it all, do not keep looking to mess with what I assume should be a succeeding team.

LOL, you would assume.....I'm actually under .500 and a few points from being knocked out of the playoff picture. I can't figure it out. Some of it is the schedule, some of it the injury to Jarry and some of it is just a good ol' ass whoopin'. When I lose, I lose big. I'm at or near the top of all the O cats, upper middle in the banger cats and obviously near the bottom of the goalie cats, but that's only 4 cats. I'm 8-8 H2H a 99-103-6 record. 2 of my losses were against a team with 2 wins. SMH

Hayes or Xhekaj I suppose. Either a PPG forward that lacks peripherals or a guy with peripherals that lacks offense. Not sure Bennett's a fit, however, with the news of Horvat to the Isles...he may be moved to the wing, opening a spot for Bennett.

I think Bennett should indeed be a solid contributor in your format. However, the drop makes it a much tougher decision. If Hayes does get moved to the Wing, which could well happen, then you got lucky. If not, you really need to crunch some numbers in respect to Bennett vs Xhekaj based on your scoring cats. Bennett will add significant G, A, PPP and SOG and a slightly better +/-. Xhekaj has the advantage in PIM, Hits and Blks however, the difference is perhaps not significant enough to negate Bennett's offensive numbers versus Xhekaj's offensive numbers where the delta is significant. Again, you need to analyze this, but dropping Xhekaj for Sam might be a good move for you.

I agree, I think it would be easier to replace Xhekaj with another defender of his ilk, than it would to replace any of my forwards. Plus having a healthy Letang back helps ease the pain in the D slots of my lineup.

Guys like Bennett who contribute significantly both offensively and to the banger cats are hard to find. Very hard to find. A D who hits and blks with some PIM is much easier to find as an FA or on the wire.
