Varly or Francouz?

Who would you rather have as I am placing Freddy Andersen on the IR?

My other Goalies are Helly, Jarry, MAF(IR)/Gustavsson.

I am leaning towards Francouz.

They're both about the same. If pressured to make a choice, I'd choose Francouz on the idea that Sorokin seems more entrenched than Georgiev. Though not by much.

I agree, they are pretty much the same and I hope I don't have to stick with whoever I end up with for very long as I hope Freddy Andersen comes back sooner than later. I am leaning towards Francouz for pretty much what you said. I have to make the move in about 10 minutes or both might be gone.

Even better, right before I had to make the decision between Francouz and Varly to replace Freddy Andersen while on the IR another league owner dropped Antti Raanta. So I picked him up.

In the short term or at least I hope the short term with Freddy Andersen and needing starts, I hope it is better with Raanta. He wasn't that great yesterday, but I had him on my bench. With having Helly & Jarry filling most of my Goalie starts, I am trying to get someone else to pick up on those days that Helly and Jarry don't play. At least right now Raanta is the starter or splitting time with Kochetkov and I also have Korpisalo now so if they can be a bandaid until Freddy and MAF get back, I will be fine with that. If I see that Raanta is not the answer, I will pick up Francouz as he has been sitting on the Free Agent list for awhile now.

I like the Raanta move as it should mostly lock up Carolina when Andersen returns.
