Second trade is
Demko + Eichel for Huberdeau + Merzlinkins
I want Huberdeau but Demko is my best goalie after him I have only Ullmark and Quick.

Hard no on the first trade.
There might be something to make of the second trade, but it depends what your objective is. In a non positional league it really comes down to who you like more Hubs or Eichel. I can see the argument for either, so that’s seems like a fair swap. But you’re selling low on Demko. I think he’s a click above Elvis, so overall you slightly lose on the deal.
Does he have any other goalies you could swap out Elvis for? Or an additional add to the trade to balance it out?

He has Hellebuyck, but I don’t think he’ll trade him. I could ask him for Letang, Kreider, or Kuznetsov idk if he’ll trade any of them, but this will leave me light on goaltending, but my forward group would be stacked.

I thought of that but I think Jack Eichel, can, has and will produce over a point per game like a mad man and he’s on a better team the upside is massive. I think he’ll play most of the season after having surgery and having a whole year + to recover, I have him projected to play 70 games but I think he might make it to 75 or more. If he plays a whole season I don’t think 90+ points is out of the question, where as I don’t think Hubey will touch 115 again I think he’ll be around 80 or 90 which is still amazing obviously which is why I wanted him, I just didn’t want to have to give up Eichel for him, I was thinking maybe a 2 for 1?

I do not want to trade Eichel so bad, I told my brother I was interested in Huberdeau, sent him some offers he thought I was undervaluing him so he sent me this counter, which I’m not a fan of, but I like to hear other opinions, maybe someone sees something I don’t, I think that’s the best strategy.
I’ve had a few offers for Eichel, I also got offered Meier for Eichel by a third team but that’s crazy even though I like Meier, the other offer of Point and Bennett is not a offer I made someone sent that to me.

yeah then walk away...i prefer Eichel to Hubs myself...only thing hubs has going for himself is that he is a winger and they are harder to come by but otherwise Eichel all the way

Yea I agree, I declined, I don’t think he’ll go for to much else so no Hubey for me haha, which is fine I think I have a top 3 team.
