Taysom Hill and the TE position

What are you guys doing at the TE position if you don't have any of the big names.

Are you taking the risk/reward option of Taysom Hill?

Or do you prefer these options:

TJ Hockenson
Gerald Everett
Pat Freiermuth

I am interested in hearing peoples thoughts and strategies around the position for the rest of the season and fantasy playoffs.

Good question and I'm interested in seeing other responses too.

Personally, I prefer all three of the names you mentioned there over Taysom Hill as I think all are a bit more stable with a decent floor at the position and still have the ability to pop in a given week. It's right around after that trio that Hill becomes an intriguing alternative to me.

TE is so weak, it makes sense to go with Taysom and hope for the best. Of your options, Hockenson is clearly better than Hill.

I would be taking this approach.

Yea I would prefer Hockenson over Hill. The most talented TE of that bunch is Freiermuth but he doesn’t have a guy (yet) who can consistently feed him the ball. If Pickett has a big improvement I can see that duo being dangerous. But that’s for another time.
