Default Replacement for Murray: Hart, Gustavsson or Kahkonen

    Hello,

I have Matt Murray in my pool and I'm looking for a replacement. Available are Carter Hart, Filip Gustavsson or Kaapo Kahkonen (also Eric comrie)

Who would you take for the duration of Murray's leave of duty? And maybe for the rest of the season? I also have Saaros and Helleybuck for my 2 others goalers (we need to have 3).

The stats for the goalers in the league are 5 pts for a victory; -1 for a game lost; 0,1 for each save; -1 per goal allowed; a 2 pts bonus for a shootout. The points of the 2 best of 3 goalers are counting, on a weekly basis.

    I'm inclined for Hart.

    Thanks!

Id go Hart for the time being. You have two great starters, and by only taking the best 2/3 goalies stats every week there is minimal risk in owning a sub par 3rd goalie. I think Hart is better suited to get lots of starts and should get some wins.
Then if he doesn't, Just spin the wheel again later in the season.

i been on here many times stating my dislike for Hart and not much has changed base don few games but given other options and Hart's hot start he is the easy choice here imo....when he goes back to his regular self then you can swap him with someone else...

Hart will get the starts, and since you have best ball, you should get the most games from him, which increases the chances of a useful week. Format matters and he's the clear starter.

Hart - goalies tend to do pretty well on John Tortorella teams - even if Philly isn't a playoff team, Hart will still have good ratios and should be in line for some Ws as well. Not sure what your scoring categories were but Toronto is going to score a lot of goals and give up a lot too.

Echoing others - go Hart. Especially since this somewhat predictable early season Torts “bump” should continue for a stretch.
