Thomas for Francouz

Team below. Other GM has Georgiev of course so he wants the other half of Colorado's tandem.

I'm inclined to say no because Vanecek isn't a certainty for 50+ games and I think even if Francouz ends up a backup or 1B he'll bring me quality starts. I'm also quite set at C with 3 pure C and 4 C/W players. I like Thomas for points but he doesn't shoot or hit and won't score many goals. Alternatively, he has Bratt who I like slightly better and should be good for about 200 SOG from RW. I could drop Deslaurier or Goodrow and add Blackwood for all NJD starts or stream.

Should I counter, reject, or accept?

I’d keep Francouz. Don’t add Blackwood either. If he really wants the tandem (of which I think Fancouz will be the better own) he needs to pay for it. Id need to see a lot better offer.

I agree with you. I've got a buddy in the league telling me Francouz will start 30 games and isn't good and that I should take Thomas which put some doubt in my mind. At this point in time I'll gamble on Francouz.

I don't think Francouz sees more than 35-40 starts at best, but I would still hold him as like you say, they will be quality starts.
