Aho for Crosby?
Hello all,
A manager in my league would like to upgrade his defense. I'm hoping to use this as an opportunity to get Crosby. Faceoff Wins are a big deal in my league so Crosby would be an upgrade over Aho with comparable stats in scoring cats. I'm pretty solid on D, especially once McAvoy returns.

I do not know much about Andersson. Does he project to be on PP1 all year? He finished just outside our top #25 D last year.
Thoughts on the trade are greatly appreciated.

From a points on out perspective I would probably stand pat here. Crosby and Aho are comparable in that regard.. How much weight is on FOW? Enough to tip the scale to Crosby In your league? Heiskanen is a tier above Andersson imo. Not sure if Weegar creeps on his PP1 time this year at all either.

Our league is set up by 13 scoring categories. So no additional weight is not placed on goals vs faceoffs. If I have more faceoffs or hits for the week you win that category.
I have focused on faceoffs and hits for the last few years. Aho won't always get you goals and PPP in a given week but Crosby will most likely get you 10+ faceoff wins per game x 2-3 games in a week.

No way I would give Aho/Heiskanen for Crosby/Andersson in a 1-year. Besides the unfortunate reality of Crosby's durability, Heiskanen is going to get huge minutes and good chance he puts up a monster year. I could easily see Aho outproduce Crosby, even when FWs are factored in, and Heiskanen far outproduce Andersson for this year.
