Only thing that makes me worry is Thompson is waiver eligible and brossoit and hill are not. Usually the first sent down is the one who doesn't get nabbed by others.

The uncertainty is why Thompson drops low. Had they not acquired Hill from San Jose, Thompson would go in early rounds

Yes, or course, he played with talented guys on the PP in Carolina too, but only on the PP. Not on a dedicated line.

I drafted Pacioretty in the 7tn round in my keeper re-draft - basically almost 300th overall. I know an Achilles is tough to bounce back from, but that was insane value, especially as he’ll likely have played 10-20 games before fantasy playoffs start and should be fully back in synch (hopefully) by then. Top line top PP in Carolina? Me likey. Not just goals/points, but people forget Patches is a 300+ SOG guy even into his 30s.

In an 18 team league where we protect 6 i got... Fiala!! Lol keep in mind its a points league which rewards goal scorers and especially rewards high volume shooters. Guys protected on the same roster were Suzuki and jt Miller. Two centers (deeper position) who aren't known for their sog quantity- i likely would have passed on both.

There's no draft but I've got a legit chance at both kuzmenko and lehkonen. Again its an 18 team league and after the steal round we have about 22 ayers each so they're about the equivalent to round 23 or even further in a 12 team draft lol!

Could also grab monaghan krejci rollover or Jack Drury for my rebuild.

Lastly I think Artem Zub is a pretty solid sleeper although he has the same issue cerraro has (who i own jn this league and STILL love as a deep sleeper) in that he hasn't developed the penchant for shooting i had hoped for. To be fair there's still time for both guys. Maybe neither ever end up to be prolific ahooters but 125-150 sog plays in our format- could live with that...

It's strange that preseason games are counting towards fantasy this year.

Do they count towards the players yearly total too?

That being said, I have hertl and Ferraro and saros so seeing him shut the door on my sharks and hold them to a single goal last night with hertl being the only scorer while Ferraro had 6 blocks was nice.

Tonight it's the Nashville 2nd goalie and Ferraro having 2 assists is even better lol

The two games between Nashville and San Jose are real games. Played early presumably so they have time to fly back and adjust their clocks after being in Czechia. The season has started for them. Rest of the league finishing up their preseason.

So far, so good Super Mario! Two great games already for a guy who I drafted on a couple teams in the 17th/18th round.

Great value at that point. I picked Crosby at 22. Not happy about that pick, but as long as he's healthy, I think it will be okay. At 51 I'd be thrilled to pick Crosby.

Brandt Clarke is a cornerstone PP phenom. Doughty gets hurt a lot and so I could see him getting some looks during the season. Blue line is crowded though with RD so it will be tough to break through. He is awesome though and fun to watch. Crossing fingers!
