I'm hoping Artturi Lehkonen... I drafted at pick 198.
Line 1, PP1 on probably a top 3 offensive team.
I know he'll be the defensive forward on that line, but will be top 100 player just by osmosis.

Seth Jarvis as a FA pickup and Doughty in round 8 of our redraft. Hoping for a healthy year from him and Jarvis is my dark horse for a big breakout.

    10 team H2H !Y League (4 keepers - at least 1 must be a D-man OR Goalie)
    Start - 2C, 2L, 2R, 1U, 3D, 2G, 6Bench, 2IR, 2IR+ (Daily) (5 moves per week)
    Skaters - G, A, +/-, PPP,
    PIM, HITS, BS, GWG, SOG
Goalies - Wins, Saves, S%, GAA (Min. 4 starts)
    Championships 2007, 2009, 2012, 2016, 2017,
    2019*, 2023

The four of my picks with the highest potential of being steals are:

Arturri Lehkonen at 161 - Line 1 and PP1 to start
Hampus Lindholm at 176 - PP1 on Boston for the next few months then a steady diet of playing with Charlie McAvoy
Oliver Bjorkstrand at 185 - should get a ton of minutes in Seattle
Jeff Petry at 200 - a Kris Letang injury away from PP1 with Crosby and Malkin

Mine would be Rielly Smith (206) who is playing on the top line with Eichel and Kessel.
And maybe Tyler Toffoli (134) playing with Huberdeau and Lindholm.

Write your own full post supporting Lindell if you want.
And you don't need to bash ANYBODY else's players...
Just write up something supporting Lindell.

I didn't hype up Ferraro for the SOG... did I??!?

And you don't need to quote my entire 50 or so line post if you are going to attend to just one player and write two lines of your own.

Holy smokes dude. Switch to decaf. I saw one of my sharks boys mentioned (whom i drafted as well in 2 leagues)and I commented on him and a similar player SUPPORTING what you said but mentioning he doesn't shoot if its also a SOG league. On my phone. I'm not cutting and pasting parts of comments on my phone.

That's crazy, he could do 200 hits, 200 blocks, and he's currently running PP2 for SJ.

*For San Jose, they had B.Burns and E.Karlsson for many years, but Burns was moved out to Carolina.
The "next" offensive D-man for SJ is/was supposed to be Ryan Merkley, but I've read that he didn't have a good camp and so he was demoted to AHL.

Ferraro is pretty solid offensive D-man, but the stats aren't there yet.
He put up point in college at U-Mass Amherst, and was there with Cale Makar.

For "points-centric" leagues, yes - Calen Addision is being given the opening opportunity to run the MIN PP1.
And there is enormous high-end potential for him there.

They've been using Spurgeon and Dumba over the years, but neither of those guys has big-upside.
Spurgeon is steady & safe... and if Addison trips up, it'll be back to Spurgeon.

For forwards, somebody has to score for Arizona - and I think Barrett Hayton will put up 50+pts this year.
He's a good player and the Yotes suck so much that he should get lots of opportunity.
I wouldn't touch him in +/- leagues though... he may end up -30.

I didn't expect it, but Alex Newhook looks like he'll be given C2 line2 PP2 to start the year.
He's the long-term C2 for the Avs and his hands are good enough to get onto PP1 if Nichu stumbles there or if one of the big3F for COL is injured.
Keep an eye on him. He was good in playoffs, but leagues that form projections from players regular season aren't extrapolating his 33pts in 71gp that well... and that was in only 13min/TOI/gp.
He could do 50-60pts, maybe even touch 60pts.

For goalies, a lot of us believe Pavel Francouz (not Georgiev) is going to pan out as the #1 for COL.
That's about the only deep goalie there is to steal.

Ville Husso (DET) and Vitek Vanecek (NJ) also play on teams with major rising young talent.
Either of those teams could *pop* this year and those goalies could be top 15 goalies if they do.

[That said - these goalies are only going "deep" in 10-team leagues rostering about 20 goalies. In 12+ team leagues, these goalies are going mid-draft or earlier to the keeners.]

SUUUUUUPER deep (potential) steal: Stuart Skinner (EDM).
If Jack Campbell gets injured... Skinner becomes #1. It's a possibility for any NHL goalie to go down. Most leagues don't have roster space to hold a back-up that is so inferior to the #1.
But Skinner is OK... and he'll win games when he plays.
Thats a mighty fine post. Respect to you bro

Both of Toronto goalies are drafted late and should outplay their ADP by a lot imo…. Also not really a sleeper but Jack Hughes is drafted in rounds 3-6 in most drafts but I expect him to be top 10-15 in scoring

I play in a few leageus.

A few of my favourite picks were...

Trochek at 159. I think Trochek gets around 70 points this year along with his usual high peripheral totals. Likely finishes top 50 overall in many leagues this season.
He has never played with anybody as good as Panarin before and I see big things. I think the Rangers have two first lines now. 1A and 1B.

    E. Petterssen at 90...
    T. Stutzle at 101...

Those are my three favourite that jump to mind this season....

I like Sean Durzi. Went pretty late in 1 of my drafts. In an auction draft somebody got him under a buck.

Trochek played with Huberdeau and Barkov on Florida’s PP1 and had a 75pt year. He’s played with talented guys before.
