Where Is Everyone on Karlsson?
With Burns gone and a clean bill of health (for now), he is the unquestioned top Dman and PP1 guy for SJ. I’ve noticed he’s largely undrafted and neglected in 10-12 man one year leagues This year. Sharks have firepower and can score, can he bounce back and have a decent year? What are some Goals and Assist numbers you’ve seen predicted for his season assuming he plays all year? I know its only preseason but he just put up 1-1-2 Friday in 25 TOI.

As long as he stays healthy - he will be #1 D on SJ. Traded for him in my main league - points only, projecting 50 pts but +/- 10 points depending on health. Upside 65 pts.

I don't really give Karlsson much thought other than finally realizing that Ottawa made a great trade without meaning to.
In saying that and now that I'm forced to think about this thread, I can see him having a great year in the 60 range. His ability to stay healthy is anyone's worst guess however. 2 points every 3 games is as accurate as I can predict and wouldn't be surprised if it can get up to 2.2 every 3.

This is where I am. Obviously he will never be the guy he was but 70-80% of that is still a 55-60 point player with PP1 time. Karlsson looks like a steal in a lot of leagues.Originally Posted by ross10019
