Opinions Needed Please: Final Keepers

Hi All,

I need to pick four keepers from the 6 listed below. ItÂ’s a H2H league that allows four keepers per year.

Scoring categories are:
Goals, assists, points, ppp, plus/minus, shots, hits.

My top 6 are:

Kucherov
B. Tkachuk
Crosby
Zibenajad
Robertson
Debrincat

Ultimately my feelings are that kucherov and Tkachuk are my no brainers.

Crosby refuses to stop producing at elite levels but is 35, off a concussion and keeping Kucherov exposes the team to injury concerns already. Pittsburg will do whatever they can to shelter his minutes as he ages, but Crosby is still an absolute stud.

Zibenajad seems like the safest, but most unspectacular choice, given the team, peripherals and age. HeÂ’s a 7 stat filler but to my mind does nothing particularly unreal.

Robertson I really want to keep believing he will be a keeper for a long time to come. I am reeling after letting go of Kaprizov and M. Tkachuk last year (keep 4Â’s are tough, although I did win the pool) and donÂ’t want to make another mistake with a great young keeper. HeÂ’s only getting better and has a very heavy shot.

Debrincat is right there with Robertson in almost every way and had 280 shots and 100 hits to boot last year. HeÂ’s away from Kane but OttawaÂ’s top six are stacked. Strategically however, Norris, Stuzle, Batherson and Giroux will all be available in the draft and I already own Tkachuk. I am drafting 10th and if I drop Debrincat wonÂ’t get him back but could easily prioritize Norris or stuzle if I wanted.

Opinions please!

i would keep Kuch, Tkachuk, Robertson and Debrincat the only thing i worry about is when Robertson signs so if your also worried then i go with Zibs

Those were my keepers last year and it worked as I did win. I dropped kaprizov, m. Tkachuk, fox and Debrincat (but was able to redraft Debrincat).

The positions are:
2 - C
4 - W
4 - D
3 - UTL
4 - BEN

On average, I have only 2 - 3 Defense dressed.

How would you evaluate?

Good call, the signing matter is a risk. Also a young player missing training camp often hurts.

WhatÂ’s your prediction for RobertsonÂ’s stat line 3 years from now? Ceiling?

I would go with Kuch, Tkachuk, Crosby, and Zibanejad.

Kuch, Tkachuk, Crosby, and Zibby for me too. Like you said, Crosby just keeps producing, and he has been relatively injury free for most of the past few seasons.
