You could possibly pick a cell-shading for each person's pick that identifies it as a 1st round-8th round.
Like... a ROYGBIV kind of deal... red maybe for 8th round picks (a light shade) and Violet for 1st round picks (a light shade).
Up to you, you'll figure out something. But that would be cool to see an Excel cell and be able to know "This should be a 30-32ish pointing pick".

Well I think it would look silly someone winning with a bunch of red formatted picks (which means bad). I can't have that happening

They've been top 10 for two years so it's a calculated risk, I guess! It's more of them being so good at controlling the puck rather than suppressing shots.

To be honest, I think you just locked up the Offense category especially with the Avs already in your stable. Was really hoping that one of those 2 would fall to me. Time to shift my focus elsewhere

Picking Toronto and Boston as a Habs fan feels weird to me.

I think we're all correctly doubtful of Boston with age/injuries/coaching change concerns but they've been top 10 three years running in shots against. Hopefully, that doesn't change.

Picking Toronto and Boston as a Habs fan feels weird to me.

I'm kind of glad you took them so that I didn't have to make that decision in a few picks. Losing Cassidy is likely to hurt the D and having McAvoy & Gryz out to start the season won't help either. That being said, with there being 4 picks until mine, they were in my queue of 5. So I don't hate this pick by any means

I went with a GF pick so I wouldn't be baited into choosing Boston SA...
They've been so consistent in that category too... just those injuries and that are hard to overlook.

I didn't notice EB took the Leafs/Lightning/Flames OFs... yeah that will give P7 a run for his money for sure

My theory is that Hubs/Kadri/Weegar vs. Gaudreau/M.Tkachuk should make the Flames a bit more a defensive team this year.
Hence, my pick for them on SA/gp. I'll be very interested to see if their GF rises without the two top liners. It was very magical top line production.

Tweetdrivr with the Sens GF in the 4th round. I thought that was about where it might go (just inside the "top third" of picks).
I was wondering where that would go... probably the greatest "change" of unit in the NHL.

(Although, obv, a #1 goalie change is interesting... which makes EDM, TOR, OTT, MIN SV% very interesting future picks!!!)

Getting Krejci back and having Bergeron - I still think they will be a stingy Defensive team.

Capitals (SA) was my sneeky backup pick allowing me to grab GF the round before, passing over Bruins (SA).
That's how it worked out in my mind, and turned to work out.
