That's kind of what I was thinking too. My projections have him at $3.5M, so yeah, that range makes sense.

Ferraro also has really sneaky multi-cat upside.
He's become quite a bit of a HIT/BLK dual-threat...
And with the Brent Burns trade-out, he's 3rd in PPTOI for SJ.

One injury... and he slots into PP2 role.

EB can verify, Ferraro was actually my 4th D keeper in a 12-team Keep 6F/4D league last year (PQMC).
I had to drop him because of late-year playoff push and clogged IR... but mercy, he'd probably be in consideration for me this year as my D4 keeper.

I'm surprised this didn't land on a longer term. He's like the only good young defenseman to come through San Jose in a while, depending on what you think of Merkley. Apparently Ferraro wanted to sign long term too. I suppose they couldn't go full term here because they are still tight to the cap, so they couldn't buy up enough UFA years. Great young player, and indeed a multi-cat monster.
