    Default Binnington or Husso

What player has a better outlook?

Binner gets the net back to himself, looked solid in the playoffs until injury, and has a better team in front of him.

Husso is younger, had a great season from start to end, but doesn’t have a great Detroit team supporting him.

Who should I keep out of those two? Team in signature

Binnington is the clear #1 in STL. He should gets lots of starts and wins. I think he’s going to have a better season than last year. And STL>>DET. It’s Binnington easily for me

I'd plug my nose and choose Binnington too. The contract will keep him stapled to 1G in STL for a long time. Ned and Husso could split, and Det will not be STL caliber for awhile yet.

Binnington has the job, and the better team for now.

I have to agree that Binnington is the right choice. However, sorry, I can't help myself, despite contract situation, no serious pressure from a back up and whatever else, Binnington is injury prone, subject to streaks of bad starts and is as flaky as any damn goalie out there with just a few exceptions. Having the net, losing the net is a cycle we have seen repeatedly in St Louis. I wouldn't keep a second goalie but you are going to need help in net at the draft table. My opinion only, but you are going to need some other decent goalie options when the bed shitting happens (:
