I think it's Montreal's new depth on D prospect pool that make this palatable -Mailloux Guhle Norlinder Harris. Barron. Xhekaj. 6 right there. Savard Edmundston Petry also expendable soon enough.

BTW Guhle and Dach are very close, that might have factored in.

I think Dach for Romanov is a trade I make pretty easily, and I'm super high on Romanov in "real NHL". That Suzuki/Dach 1-2 punch will be very solid if Dach develops as he should, and now with Slafkovsky supporting Caufield/Suzuki, bodes well.

With all the Habs picks, the 66th and 98th are meh, especially given that they still have 26 and 33.
