Yeah, Sid still has plenty of gas left in the tank.
You hope Stutzle reaches Crosby's floor.
Points-only keeper league. 12 teams. Keep any 12 players. Dress 12F - 6D - 2G.
I like Stutzle's future potential for sure, but he has a long long way to go before he's legitimately in the discussion with Sid. Someday, maybe, but not tomorrow or the next day.

i look at it a bit different. Question was not who is better player or who produces more right now. Question was who has more value.
Maybe there are different leagues out there and people value players differently but in 8 leagues im in i bet you 9 out of 10 guys would not trade Stutzle for Crosby due to age. I also think Stutzle pushes 70 points next year and gets better from there.
So yeah i think production wise Crosby is the guy for next 2 maybe 3 years. But value wise in trade, i think Sutzle already has him topped.

This will be in the eye of the beholder. The owner going for it now will value Crosby higher than the rebuilding owner. There's no set valuation metric by which we can say that one is definitely more valuable than the other. Sometimes the two assets are far apart enough that it is easy to say one asset is more valuable (e.g., Quinton Byfield v. Justin Braun). But Crosby and Stutzle are close enough to say that value depends on the receiving party's intention.
Go with Sid until he gives you a reason not to.

Sid. Sure, the end is coming eventually. But he's worth the risk in the same way you gamble on a young player: massive upside. I think he's still got 3 great years left. Deal with replacements when the time comes.
i can certainly see both trains of thinking here. it all depends on whos buying and whos selling.
the long term rebuilder is definitely taking STuz over Sid IMO. hes younger, has the ability to at least get close (not match i say...close) to sids points over the next 3-5 yrs. The win now guy isn't even looking at STuz yet, hes all about Sid.
Value or production, depends what you're looking for...

Thanks guys I ended up trading Stutzle for Crosby I think I have a real shot at winning next year with my team. Weird trade tho as Crosby was on the 1st place team
Maybe they think that with Letang/Malkin going, Crosby will have more focus on him but I still think that any contending team should got for Crosby.
