I might not go so far as to declare Tippett a bust, but even if he does start to turn things around in Philly, which is probably 50/50 at best the improvement will be modest, Puli is by far the more desirable player to own IMO.

maybe mot a bust when it comes to NHL carrier, but bust when it comes to previous expectations...i dont think there is even question about it...many had him pegged as consistent 30 goal scorer. He was top 5 prospect for 2-3 years...

Can't disagree with that. He may find his way in the NHL, I think there is still a good chance of that, but reaching the lofty offensive expectations associated with his draft position is a big time long shot. Not totally impossible, but very highly unlikely. Given the offensive talent, or lack thereof in Philly, and with the possibility or either Torts or Trotz landing behind the bench, well that's another nail in the coffin.
