That's interesting - because I've read that a Nike-Canada employee was at Jack's Bar on the night of question "feeding shots" to Jane Doe.
His speculated name can be found online and he hasn't been with Nike-Canada any longer since about spring of this year.

For all the shit that HockeyCanada has gotten... this one employee may have contributed an effin LOT to the unfolding of the events that evening.
If so, he'd be a great candidate for the internet to follow around for the rest of his life.

I believe I read the words "take care of this guy" spoken/said/intenuated from the Nike Canada employee to JaneDoe regarding JohnDoe.
Ugh.

This man is referred to as "M.M." in a recent court filing by London police, which the Globe reported on earlier this week. M.M. is a former OHL player. His LinkedIn page shows he has been with Nike Canada for more than a decade.

Everyone in Canada should at least know the situation. It's an organization that used funds that parents and beer leaguers paid to play hockey to pay off sexual assault victims for decades. And if we think this is the only sports group that is doing it in the world is naïve.

After the news broke about Nike, more came out. Nike technically isn't cancelling any deal, but the deal expired and Nike isn't renewing it. This was likely in their plan last yr when they paused with Hockey Canada. Nike informed HC 4 months ago it wasn't renewing their sponsorship. Fanatics is apparently a strong replacement candidate for Hockey Canada, especially after they are now the NHL jersey sponsor.

To point out, Nike has had a 25yr sponsorship with HC.

I would expect the NHLPA would step in if there's no charges.

The London police did a pretty crap job in 2018 when it came to light to them, and they restarted the investigation when Rick Westhead did the leg work on it.

Interesting things I found just now - it appears that the photos from Jack's Bar from night-of-incedent... have been unlinked/deleted/taken-down from "One Night in London" reddit thread.
The photos were there just a month ago. Boy... somebody got a nudge into taking them down. I can't find them.
(I know which faces appear from that night - but they aren't available anywhere on the internet - any longer - that I can tell.)

[Possibly - fair - as several players were there - and a lot of people have been throwing out names of guilty - simply based on those appearing in photos.]
[This said - it's highly likely that, soon-to-be-suspended, players "in the room" were also at Jack's, since that's where JohnDoe and JaneDoe both met and came from.]
[Both these things said - some of player issued statements I've read both seem very clear that player was not "in the room" - even having been at Jack's. I do feel bad for some of these guys, that maybe got text and knew well enough to not attend, bad for them getting lumped in with the bad eggs simply from "wrong place at wrong time" (Jack's).]
