Who should i be protecting? Advice please.

Hi everyone, i'm in keeper league, points only. We are able to protect 7 player and I have difficulty pick my last spot.

Currently protecting.
1. Crosby
2. Kucherov
3. Pastrnak
4. Guentzel
5. Fox
6. DeAngelo
7. ???

Here are my choices for the final spot

Kyrou - I feel his minutes will increase and PP time and he only 24 yrs old
Bratt - I like his situation in NJ and play with Hughes is a plus also 24 yrs old
Fiala - Finally a breakout, but I just don't know what to expect next year.
Dobson - NYI fired their coach and I was hope they would become more offensive but it look like a Trots clone. More o the same.

I am lean toward Kyrou and Bratt but your advice/input is import. Help please.

Tough choices and you're going to lose someone you dont want no matter who you choose. For me, Dobson is the easy pass. It's which forward would I like.

For me, I think all three are close enough but I think I'd go with Fiala.

I like Bratt the most of the group.
If Kyrou can start to squeeze some more minutes out of the Blues lineup, I'd put him on par with Bratt.
Personally not a big believer of Fiala and the hype that's surrounded him the past 3 off-season's despite him putting up the numbers that he did this past season.
Wouldn't consider Dobson over any of the forwards, and 2/7 of your keepers are already Dmen so you have a solid base.

Fiala… I would also consider dropping deangelo in favor of Kyrou

I don't think Dobson is in the mix here at all. I'd roll with DeAngelo and Fox. The forwards are a tougher choice for sure but I'm going Fiala, the track record is there, he's out performed the others and I don't think there is any reason to think he won't continue to put up the numbers that he has for the last few years which are simply better than both Kyrou and Bratt. He's also just hitting his prime, not so for Bratt and Kyrou. IMO your last keep is Fiala.

Fiala for me, but no matter who you lose is gonna sting a little. Dobson is an easy pass for me, the rest are close but I believe Fiala keeps it up.

I'd also keep Fiala.

Dobson to me is the easiest redraft, and also you're doing fine on D.
Kyrou and Bratt could be good as well, but I think Fiala is likely the best option.

I agree with keeping Fiala. I'd actually consider Dobson over Deangelo - I think Dobson's floor is a lot higher than Deangelo's. A lot will depend, imo, on what Deangelo's next contract looks like. If Carolina signs him to a multi-year deal I'd probably be comfortable enough in keeping him. If he goes somewhere else, or it's another 1 year deal, I'd have to think hard about keeping him if it were me.
