That was the exact point I was trying to make. It is irrelevant how good or bad a team played in game 4 and 7 of the previous series.

But if both teams play the whole series like they did in game 7... we are in for a wild and exciting ride!

I hope this series is the biggest battlefield I've ever seen. I want nasty hits, suspensions, many goals, chirps all day long. I want 2 weeks of pure hate for each other.

glad to live in Alberta and experience it, win or lose.

Not surprising that you would want to see anger, violence, suspensions, injuries, etc. I also live in Alberta and personally I'm looking forward more to the speed and skill of guys like McDavid and Gaudreau going head to head, but to each their own.

I voted Oilers in 7. Not a fan but I have liked what I saw from them in game 7 but in reality this series could go either way.

Isn't that an improvement by Alberta standards?

This is either going to be a series for the ages or a 4/5game walk for one team... if Draisaitl is 100% and Mike Smith keeps forgetting he's 40 then the Oilers might take it. I would say that Calgary is probably my pick though

So what you're saying is it will either be a 4 or 5 games quick series, or a 6 or 7 game long series? Bold take

I’m from Edmonton, and I’m not sure my body can handle what the next couple of weeks is going to bring!

Oilers in 6! Let’s go baby

    Ha! Fair point.

But by quick I meant the games themselves wouldn't be close (maybe a lucky home win for the team that gets eliminated), vs 7 games with multiple 1 goal/OT decisions, lead changes, etc

I hope it's 7 straight OT games and a crushing OT goal by the honey badger where he leaps into the air, skates down the ice, and then slides on his back from blue line to blue line...

Who in the world is the honey badger? What a terrible, unimaginative, outdated, and overplayed nickname.

This is why people here think you’re a jerk. Just leave it. There’s no hockey in this post, only vitriol. What’s the point?
