From every post I've read in this thread, the one thing that stood out as the only truth I can formulate is when notch said "this league is a joke".

Some trades from notch are a bit iffy sure, but its not like he's running away with every trade. He made a lot of bad ones. Like the Ovi trade. And if you look he only made 9 trades in a season and one in 2022 and I'd argue the only one he ran away with was the Fox trade but even then he traded away a prospect many outlets had as the best prospect (Byfield) and a 1st. Its a good trade for him but I don't think its that bad. I don't like Byfield but you can't blame the team who made that trade.


When you look at what OP had vetod (turn off executed trades and turn on include deleted) most of those trades shouldn't have been veto'd, they were ok. The last one with 20 players could be vetoable there's too many changing parts and I'm too lazy to really dig into figuring out if its bad in a h2h cats league. But like Sharangovich + 8th round pick for Bjorkstrand in October? That's not bad at all. Should have went through.

IMO: Notch isn't cheating. But he is too controlling he should change it to league veto with like 51% of the league needed to veto it would solve lots of problems. OP is a moron who can't post pictures or a link and likely is not on the same experience level as most of the league and sees his ineptitude as someone else cheating him.

You are active in the Fantrax General League chat as of April 21st. The Owners List tab shows you on our league page yesterday. So how are you locked out? Pictures below prove all points. Therefore, you’ve been free to give everyone the proof they’ve been asking for in this thread. You just haven’t. I know why. But no worries, I’m on it.

This league is a joke. As I mentioned in the 1st of 2 posts I made in this thread, when I was recruiting for new owners via PM on Dobber, I was very clear in my PM’s that there were so many issues. They started with offseason chat about politics. When this season began, I made it clear that I wouldn’t be talking politics anymore because it was hockey season and any talk the undermines the league, wouldn’t be tolerated.


This was said in the offseason as I was setting up the live video for the waiver wire order. A comment was made that I may not do it live even though a fool-proof method was tried and tested, so a clear message was given to people and I said if they don’t trust me, don’t pay and don’t check the box that says you trust the Commish when signing up.

Onto the season, we have a no veto rule. None. People are to be mature and make fair trades with integrity. Collusion is impossible to prove anyway.

I was in 2nd or 3rd all year and pulled into 2nd via tiebreaker for playoff seeding.

Every trade the team in 1st made was approved. Every trade the team in 2nd made was approved. Every trade I made in 2nd or 3rd was approved. Every trade was approved accepted for one. Getting to it. But I think there may be a maximum of 25 attachments per post and I’m at it.

The Kyle Beach situation (in the middle of this season) in a group chat fired up people again.

Anyway, as I’m typing all this for this hilarious thread, I’m realizing I couldnt give two shits, this is all so stupid and I will never speak to any of these guys again.

Carrying on quickly:
When Monkies Throwing Poop joined the league, his first trade ever was to trade Weegar away for McMichael and Broberg. Minors mean nothing in this league if you can’t get points before 83GP or you aren’t elite in potential. Weegar was a top-end Dman. I asked the long-standing owner to be fair and add his 1st to the deal as it takes nothing from his team in his quest to win this year, and he still gets Weegar. He agreed and sent a 1st as well. Deal approved. Those texts have already been provided I think.

Only one trade was vetoed. It was done by the team in 6th and the OP (who has never once finished in the 8 of 12 teams that make the playoffs).

The deal:
Right after I traded away Byfield and 1st overall for Fox and right after the guy in 1st traded away Pettersson for ROR (he really needed FOW), this deal was sent and accepted:




That’s it, that’s the only deal that was vetoed. Vetoed after I gave them both 3+ days to explain the deal and the deal was not explained by both parties. Those texts have already been provided as well.

I would never join that league because theres lots of red flags but I can tell you and the people complaining aren't experienced in fantasy hockey at all and your suffering is self inflicted. Joining a league where its commissioner only veto is insane. That's all on you, even if the commissioner is super controlling. I'd never join a league like that. It either has to be no veto or a league wide veto process. You knew the lay of the land and still joined (I don't know if you're OP but if you've been in that league for 3 years) and continued to renew and things were this bad you're a masochist or a have intelligence issues.

I think I would have to disagree and vote in favor of the plaintiffs. The transition history is what confirms. I feel Notch incriminated himself. Granted it is a disaster of a league, but let us follow Notch.

Going back to Post 15 - Trading is currently disabled, but I want to turn it back on ASAP. I had to shut it down temporarily because people said they would quit next year and I didn’t want them to start making unfair trades with their buddies. No veto system as I prefer people just make fair trades.

So he changed a rule mid season based on an assumption. First he shut off trading, then he added a VETO. It clearly states a NO VETO league.

He Says it again on post #144.- Onto the season, we have a no veto rule. He Also states Every trade was approved accepted for one. Then this: My response: “Yeah, that was last years offseason chat. People could have left when they wanted to. In-season, different ball game.”

In post #148 He opens trading but changes multiple practices:your $50 entry fee (placeholder fee shall be required before the trade is executed). If you remember, this was a poll option in the offseason last year, but was not passed by majority. It is now being implemented. IN addition to requiring: explain how the offer helps your team; as well as how the offer benefits your trading partner.
And again he confirms the changes.


Each one of us values differently. You will not find a STL player on my team. I tried forever to get rid of Hub even when he was starting to break out. Couldn't get crap. We like to have players we like. Maybe I Have a plan to get a player so I can use him for another Player which in turn will get me the guy I actually want. You want me to say that? Sorry!


Let's forget the vetoed trade of 20 assets. Prior to that there are 3 vetoed trades. ALL 3 were the same GM. We can tell there is bad blood. There are a few Wrenches that confuse me in the additions.

From square 1, Notch has said the league is a disaster. That being the case, there should not have been a fee until it was corrected. I feel Notch had good intentions. Cheating??? Maybe by something that was added midseason that he put to a failed vote. But the bottom line:


I am sorry, when trading was shut off; then new rules were instituted, any and all funds paid should be returned. The Rules are like a contract. They pre-paid for a service, but that particular service was discontinued. The He said/They Said is meaningless and stems from multiple sources.
