I got an offer today.

Here’s a list of the best players available for the next draft in our league :

Kyrou, Larkin, Bertuzzi, Buchnevich, Kadri, Boldy, Lundell, Meier, Devon Toews, Husso, Vanecek and all the players of the NHL 2022 draft.

My 1st pick will be 6th or 7th.

Not contending this year but I want to go all in next year.

Too much for Huberdeau? For a contender team, a 100 points players is very important and I’m not sure Svechnikov will be more than a point per game player. Huberdeau is only 28 and is in a very good situation in Florida.

It would help if we could see the rest of your roster, but on surface level in a points only league i think I'm taking this.

This would be even better for you if you can flip the 1st and Boqvist for a roster player that helps you more now so you get a solid Svech + x player for Hubs

If you get that you should be very happy. He might take it, but I would guess you need to add more and/or take a lesser pick back.

Here’s some feedback.

First pooler changed his mind again and offers me his Huberdeau for my Svechnikov, Boqvist and Knight.

The other pooler is still thinking about my offer and said he is interested. The deal would be his E.Lindholm, Saros and Wheeler for my Newhook, Knight and 1st pick.

I need a goalie but I really like Huberdeau. Points for goalies are 2 for a win, 1 for an OTL and 3 for a shutout.

Which deal do you prefer?

As much as I love Huberdeau I'd be tempted to add the depth of Lindholm, Wheeler, and Saros to my lineup and not have to part ways with Svech.

this is very good for next few years...no question about it, you wont be worng unless you look back at this past 2025 season
