I would keep Josi instead of DeAngelo. Debrincat and maybeee fiala might be worth a pick in the offseason but wondering if this is seems worth it to keep my team trucking.
Scoring is in sig. Just for reference, Josi is 4.85 Fantasy ppg while Deangelo was 4.3 before he went down. Fiala has been 4.03 and Debrincat has been 3.87 so far this season

I take that. As good as DeAngelo has been this year, he carries a risk. Could be wrong, but I firmly believe this year will the best remaining year that DeAngelo will have. He's an RFA after this year, and most of Carolina's cap commitment is already locked in, apart from Kotkaniemi. Wouldn't be surprised if DeAngelo prices himself out trying to cash in on his redemption year and ends up somewhere not as appealing as Carolina. We'll see. Flags fly forever, Josi is elite NHL handsome (Patrick Sharpe, Henrik Lundqvist tier), make the deal.

I really like Josi, now and in the future. Basically you’re giving up DeAngelo for Josi plus two potential draft picks in the off season.
You’re already fully in for this year. No reason to stop now. If you can manage the loss of Debrincat /Fiala, do it ! Do it now !

Thanks for the help folks. Sounding like it will require some further discussion but will hopefully go through. I think I can handle loss of either of them as I can play the other and meier behind Huberdeau at LW with Hall and Bennett on the bench as insurance. Thanks again. REP given !

I would gladly do that deal. I prefer Josi to DeAngelo, and if it's just guys you can't keep that D upgrade from a zero to Josi is huge.
