No chance I'd do #2 under your circumstances. The first is closer, although Thomas is not great in a league with those stats.
Team and league in Sig.
Under Rebuild: I'm in last position this year and won't be in contention next year.
Would you trade away:
Caufield VS R.Thomas + Byram
and/or
Caufield + Dahlin + Stuetzle VS Dubois + Byram + Scheifele

I would not do option #1 because I don't think it improves your keepers. It may give you more trade pieces but that assumes Thomas or Byram would be keepers for another team.
I do like option #2: I like the upgrade from Norris to Scheifele more than the downgrade from Dahlin to Byram.

Definite no to number 2. For number 1, I'd want a sweetener as Byram has concussion problems and isn't even playing, and Thomas isn't great for your league. As it stands I'd pass on both and take a chance on Caufield.
And if it's a keep 11 would you keep either player over any of your current keepers?
