Shesterkin is good, but MacKinnon is a top 5 player. Take that and run, especially in a league with only 3 keepers.

I love Shesterkin but you have to take this deal. Owning Mack in a keep 3 league is huge!!
Accepting this offer should also officially put you in “sell mode”. Do whatever you can to upgrade your 3 keepers and draft picks moving forward.

I might be missing something, but in a 14 team league that starts 6F and 2G, I'm thinking Shesterkyn has mega value. And even if you count +/- (which I hate doing), Mack is giving you 5 cats versus 4 goalie cats (I don't see Mack as big on hits, blocks, or PIMS).
How many goalies are typically kept in this league?

I’ve also never seen a 14-team, Keep 3, 6F, 4D and 2G setup. That’s a league that screams emphasis on G and D especially with PIMS, Hits and Blocks.Originally Posted by als_revenge

As others have aptly pointed out, your scoring cats are typically the primary driver behind whether a deal is a good one or a bad one for you. In many formats this is a very fair price to pay to acquire MacK, a good deal indeed. But, not so much in your format as others have said. I'm also passing on this, and agree with Notch that my keepers, based on this format, are Shesterkin, Sorokin and Carlson.
