Default Larkin or Lafrenière or Sergachev

    Keeper league.

Who should I keep to complete my rebuild between Larkin, Lafrenière ou Sergachev.

Forward score 1 pts for each goal and assist

Defenseman get 2 pts for a goal and 1 pt for an assist.

I would like to take a chance with Lafrenière... I think he would be a special player. What do you think?

Two ways to go about this IMO. You are in a rebuild so you could go with Lafreniere and hope/wait for him to turn into something more than he is right now, which is a 12 mins a night guy on a stacked Rangers team that seems to be rolling along fine with him in a fairly limited role.

Larkin is by far the best player right now of the three, and could also be a pretty good asset to trade too. It depends how quickly you think you can turn things around.

Without knowing much about your team...I'm leaning towards Lafreniere and hoping he turns into the stud you need to lead you out of the rebuild.

Larkin is only 25. Plenty of good years left. I’d stick with him as he’s already producing, and the Wings are going to be real good real soon in my opinion. I’d shop Laf around and see if anyone is still willing to pay for the hype. I like Sergachev but Hedman is Hedman, and Sergachev is not.
12 teams. Keep 9 any position.
7 prospects. D scoring 3.75 for goal, 2.75 for assist. Forwards 3.5 for goal, 2.5 for assist. 0.5 for hits and blocks. Goalie scoring -1.5 GA, 0.3 for save, 2 points for win and extra 2 for shutout.

    D: Drysdale, Guhle, Perunovich

I frickin love Larkin and think he is massively underrated, so I think you keep him, he is going to consistently put up pts/PPPs on that increasingly stacked team. I wouldn't fault you taking a homerun swing with Laf, but most fantasy leagues are won with consistent safe performers like Larkin. I think the negative blip of last year is just that, a blip, in what will become a very very solid career for Larkin. And as someone said, he's still ONLY 25!

Side story - on New Year's Eve 2014 I was fortunate enough to attend Canada v USA in the WJC at the Bell Centre. What a game and two incredible teams. On the Canadian side, you had McDavid of course, but he was frankly a backseat guy to the Reinhart/Domi/Duclair line, they were electric and the stars of the show. And on the US side, Eichel was front and center - amazing player already at that tender age - when the US was down in the 3rd the coach even started double-shifting him ON D! But the other US guy that was outstanding that game, that just made something happen with his speed and skill every time he touched the puck, was Dylan Larkin - and not just because he scored 2 in th 5-3 loss.

Other current NHL stars who played in that game - Copp, Mantha, Slavin, Drouin, Grzelcyck, DeAngelo, Demko, Werenski, Morrissey, Nurse.

Have to watch Laf closely now. They finally decided instead of having him buried behind Kreider and Panarin on LW to try him on 1st line RW. And he scored 2 goals in 2 games since

    Good observation Joe.

That said, I like Larkin far and away right now of these three. Sergachev is buried and Laf has too much yet to prove.

This question needs to be answered later to see if Lafreniere's wing flip and promotion works. right now, he's behind Larkin for me, and slightly ahead of Sergachev, due to upside.
