What are your categories? And are the numbers in brackets the number of players you start in each position slot?

assume those numbers are max slots per position..knowing how many you START in each is somewhat key here.

if nothing else i like that trade, but Terry (C) is basically a waste if the above is true. can you ask for a winger or a dman?

The number is the maximum number of players allowed on a roster. We get points from skaters for goals, assists, pp, sh, faceoffs. Penalties, shots, blocked shots, hits don’t count for anything.

We can play 3 C, 3 LW, 3 RW, 4 DEF, 2 UTIL, 2 G, 3 BEN, 2 IR

On the whole I like the idea of getting Matthews for that package, but the positional issue finnys_fantasy raises is pertinent, don't set yourself up for a wasted asset if you can help it.

i would easily do this for just Matthews and Nedljkovic so its no brainer for me..im sure you can flip Terry if you have positional issues....take it before he changes his mind.

At first glance I liked it until finny pointed out that Terry is listed as a C. How is that possible? He's taken 3 FOs this year and lost them all!!!

If you you switch him with a LW to upgrade Milano or Hagel you might be onto something good.

Troy Terry is listed as C, RW on ESPN, but in our league, only the first position listed is assigned to a player.

I don’t think I can upgrade Milano or Hagel on this deal, since my trade partner here has only three healthy LW.

And, I agree my Goaltending would take a significant hit, but I do think Jack Campbell has already played his best hockey this season. I don’t think the Red Wings win enough though to allow Nedeljkovic to reach Campbell’s fantasy scores

Matthews is worth it. Take the trade. Look to incrementally upgrade goaltending moving forward.

The more I think about this, the better I like the trade.

I think Jack Campbell will be rested more for the playoffs and the Maple Leafs will give Mrazek more starts down the stretch. Mrazek got three wins in the last 5 TML games after starting the season hurt. I don’t think Jack Campbell will sustain the pace he has had in the first half and I got great value for him by upgrading Tavares. Nedeljkovic is a clear starter, at a 2:1 split with Greiss, and wins about half his games. It may not be as big of a drop in point production as the first half.

But, I will miss teh Tarasenko! :’-(
Worth it to upgrade Tavares to Matthews, and now I watch the RWs on Waivers, FA
I still have Marner, Stone, Tuch, and Voracek.
