Svechnikov + Terry for Marchand + Nylander

Hey Guys

I was offered in points only keep 6 league ( I’m rockin bottom of the standings and looking for advice to gain traction for next year ) :

Svechnikov
Terry
Dumba
+ picks 1, 2, 5

for my

Marchand
Nylander
Severson
+ picks 5, 7, 10

On surface not sure if it appeals at all.

Svechnikov vs Marchand, Marchand is so consistent it’s hard to judge vs a young stud like Svechnikov?

Nylander vs Terry , points only they kind of match , But Nylander has looked dominant this year and has shown it coming for the last 2 years. Terry has doubled his ppg pace vs last 2 years and more than doubled his shot % to a whopping 25% . Is Terry for real at all ?

Dumba / Severson = is a wash

picks , good upgrades but …..


Would you suggest other notables on OGM’s Roster based on ways to improve my roster for next year. It has been mentioned , my forwards need stronger depth keepers and perhaps look at 5 forwards and add a stronger D keeper ?

I don’t think it’s bad but try to get more I’m not sold on Terry so I’d do it.

Edit: I misread the post. Drop Nylander and Terry and I’d do it. Not sold on Terry what so ever.

It's not a terrible offer to a rebuilding team, but I'd try to get a bit more from him. Maybe one extra pick upgrade? Or swap out Willie for someone less likely to be a keeper.

On the surface and in under the hood I would suggest this doesn't appeal at all. In a pts only both Marchand and Nylander will be better owns than Svech and Terry IMO. The D are basically throw in, neither one is a great own in your format. The pick upgrade is OK but not nearly enough to make me consider doing this. In essence, the other GM is trying to sell high on Terry. Pass for me.
