Take Dach before they pull the offer!
I recommend you go and watch 5+ Chicago games and try and say Dach isn't top 3 in their most impressive players all season. Aside from Kane you probably won't notice a player more often than Dach. He's going to take some time as most big players tend to, and as a top 3 pick his odds of eventually breaking through is worth the gamble. That trade is ridiculous seeing as Arizona isn't going to be competitive for years... Take it while you can. Just look at his giveaway takeaway numbers this season. 25 takes and 15 gives is super impressive for a young player. Anyways, strong accept for me..

Dach is definitely not a bum but he is not developing like Chicago wants. His wrist injury really set him back and it could be still be causing him some issues. I doubt he'll be the 3rd best player from his draft and those Getzlaf comps need to be tempered. With his size, he'll never be a bust but I definitely think the ceiling is a little lower than what was previously thought. Then again like Mdraft said, big players often take longer so maybe he pops in another year or so. And definitely take the trade.

Agree with all of this. Smash the "accept" button before the other removes his offer.
I like Dach, but I think it's going to take some time before he takes off. Watching some Chicago games, you can see right away that he's got great playmaking abilities. He reads plays and sometimes pulls off some incredible passes that other players just can't. He's not getting the points right now, but he's been demoted on the third line recently. I'd like to see him use his shot a little bit more and also, he's a big boy at 6 foot 4, almost 200 pounds, and you can clearly see that he's not using that to its full advantage yet. It's going to come, so if you can afford to be patient, I think you got a good centerman for the future there. I don't know about you guys, but Dach kind of reminds me of Jesperi Kotkaniemi in the way they play right now. Although I like KK's shot better, I prefer Dach's ceiling.

I frequently like to hear other opinions but not at the risk of losing a slam-dunk win. This one you pull the trigger then post--about how you just robbed the OGM--and ask should you hang onto Dach or think about flipping him for another upgrade.
The guy above who mentioned he is a young #3 overall pick, big-frame #1 C with only 117 games played is on the right track. The wrist injury was a big hit to him to start the year. I would love to have the guy in my system and would trade as many Vejmellkas as needed to acquire him. I preferred Cozens over him and still do but Dach is a good prospect who was brought up too early in an organization that has experienced substantial turmoil. I would hold him happily and hope another schmuck comes along and offers me another slam-dunk win for him.
First off, you take that deal, and I like what Vejmelka has shown.
Secondly, it's really rare that a 20 year old pro athlete is a bum. I do know a number of 20-somethings who were bums at 20 and before, but most of them weren't driven enough to be in the best league int he world for their sport.
