what are the projections for him in the future, i know he was said to be a franchise forward and 100pt type guy when he was drafted but is that still the same? also the guy who owns vinny and datsyuk likes stamkos, so would it be worth it by trading for one of them

Yes Stamkos will be a franchise forward.

But if this guy is willing to trade Vinny or Datsyuk straight up...that is a good trade as well.

Stamkos does have a lot of potential but that does not mean that he\'ll ever achieve it... probably though. Even then, he is no Datsyuk and certainly not a Vinny by any stretch of the imagination. If I owned Vinny or Dats, there is absolutely no way I would ever consider parting with them for what is only a promising rookie and a rookie that just doesn\'t have the same upside. If the other GM would do the trade, take it and RUN!!!

so stamkos doesnt have the potential to be vinny or datsyuk? the trade probably wouldnt be straight up but i would give like kesler or some other guy that wouldnt mean much

if you can wrangle a vinny or datsyuk by offering stamkos I would definately look into that, stamkos MAY be 100 pt player but if I had to guess he might turn into a ppg player at some point in the future

Oh yeah, Stamkos definitely has the potential....even to be better than the other two....but he still has to live up to that potential.

But I mean if you get back Vinny/Datsyuk AND Stamkos lives up to his potential....you still don\'t lose too much...I mean you are getting back talent.
