I would be curious when he gets into the lineup. But if he plays 40games, I would think 30 of them are top line (L1/L2 with Drai or McDavid) and PP2 minutes. He would get 29pts (29/40=60pt/82games)


I thought he had better point totals throughout his career. But he hasn't gone over 57pts (2011-12), but the last 3 yrs he's gotten 152pts in 195games (64pts/82games). So I would think he'll be around that by the end of the season. Which is why I say 29pts. But he'll get like 23pts in 30games (6pts/10gp to start slow).

Under by a hair.
While his last season was his best, EKane was the most utilized forward in SJ and played over 20 minutes per game.
On a squad that already has McDavid, Draisaitl and RNH over 20 minutes per game, I'm not sure he gets as much icetime.
Of course he will play with much better players, but still.

Kane, on average, is good for 30+ goals over 82 games. I don't think anyone ever expected that from Lucic.

I say 27. It should be his line mates that will have a bump in production with the room he can provide them. Big boom or bust gamble for the Oil though.

Honestly Kane is a shitty human and should be out of the league. But there’s no reason for Edmonton to not do this (other than morality enabling one’s which the league showed long ago they don’t care about).
