Heatley + for Ovechkin +

Have been offered Ovechkin & D.Brown for my Heatley & Gomez. I love AO but am I giving up too much ?




Grapes: Sakic, Hossa, Gaborik, Spezza, Gagne,
Stamkos, Backstrom, D.Sedin, H.Sedin, Heatley, Gomez.
D-man: (2pts goal, 1pt ast) Rafalski, Boyle, Green, Letang

I think this isnt THAT bad... but if you want to ...try putting gaborik in heaters place... see if he\'ll fall for that. If not; Id think about keeping Gomer and Heater over the other two your getting...

Lets see each players upsides (IMO):

Heatley- 95-100 points
Gomez- 76-81 points

MAX TOTAL: 181 points

VS

Ovechkin- 96-101 points
Brown- 60-65 points

MAX TOTAL: 166 points

In a keeper... this would be a good deal for you... but in a one year league... Id take my chances with the Heatley side.

I actually think the points total for the 4 players involved is a lot closer and probably favours the Ovie side by a good 10 points or so.
I like Ben\'s idea about offering Gaborik, but I don\'t think he\'ll go for Gabby and Gomez. You might consider countering with Heatley and Gabby for Ovechkin and another prime player he has. A lot of people still love Gaborik in spite of the injury list. If you can snag another forward almost as good as Gabby, why not try it. Let him take the list. I wouldn\'t be the least bit surprised to see Gaborik on/off the IR a few times the season with a myriad of lesser injuries.
